While the material cover is soft and the filling in the pillow itself is soft, there is too much filling stuffed inside. But to be fair I have a serious neck problem. I feel that if we were given the option to remove some of the filling to meet our comfort level then this would be the perfect pillow. I have been trying to find a pillow with that option. I will be cutting the pillow to remove the filling and place it in another pillow that has a zipper on the side to add inside. They need to make a pillowcase for this pillow. A standard, Queen, king does not fit. UPDATE: 1/13/2025 This order came with 2 pillows. My husband has the 2nd pillow and so far he has no complaints with the pillow. For me to be fair I have serious issues with my neck. I have a lot of hardware in my neck including several small rods in my neck so to find a good pillow to be comfortable is very difficult to find. My only solution is to have a pillow with a zipper which I can remove or add the filling as needed, it just has to be the right kind of filling. This pillow has the right kind of filling to where I can put inside my original pillow that I have. Over time the filling just becomes lumpy and uncomfortable to which I need to refill with new filling. After a long search I found this pillow which had the same kind of filling I’ve been looking for to restuff my pillow. So with that said I can’t really review this product myself except to say that it has the right filling inside to help me with my sleeping but I can say with what my husband tells me which is he has no complaints, in fact he is happy with it and it supports his head & neck well. If you have a serious neck problem this might not be the pillow for you unless you already have a pillow with a zipper and can restuff it with any kind of filling then I do recommend the filling in this pillow. With regular size contoured pillows (23″x14″) I’m always shoving it over to lay my head on the edge (side-sleeper) when I turn over from one shoulder to the other as I sleep. I have to scoot over a foot or two to get to the other edge of that regular-sized contoured pillow. This one is so short that it can stay put as I turn onto the other shoulder. It’s fabulous! Also: This pillow came in 3 layers, trimmed so that each layer is nestled together and will never slip as it might if they were 3 straight-cut layers. I’ve kept that inner layer in so that the pillow is at its maximum height of nearly 5″ on the larger wedge, which when it sinks in just a bit is perfect support for my neck.

I was really desperate for relief when I ordered this and honestly I was kind of expecting it to not work, but tried anyway. Surprisingly it helped my neck pain from the first night. I can’t use hard pillows because I find it too painful but I knew I needed some kind of specific neck support at least for now. This pillow has the right level of support for me while still being a soft enough pillow that doesn’t hurt me from laying on it. I did take it apart and air it out upon arrival and it expanded and also lost the tiny bit of new foam smell it initially had, to where I didn’t smell anything by the time I used it that same night.

I have searched for a very long time to find an excellent cervical pillow that actually works well for a side sleeper. Most cervical pillows are usually decent if you sleep on your back, but if you sleep on your side it can be almost impossible to find a good one. In my experience ~90% fail to work for side sleeping! I have tried dozens of pillows over the years. Although they say they are designed for back and side sleeping, it is usually not the case. These specially designed pillows usually seem ok for the 1st couple of days then they ultimately fail and make my condition worse! …NOT this pillow! I am so happy I found it!!!! THIS PILLOW IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! It is both supportive and soft at the same time, sleeps cool, and feels luxurious against my skin. It doesn’t hit my face with a hard molded foam (like many do) which causes needless skin wrinkles while side sleeping. My sleep has tremendously improved and I no longer get neck strain. I wake up feeling like I had a great nights sleep! I have not experienced this high quality sleep in decades. I attribute it most of the improvement to this pillow. I have also paired it with a new mattress, but have had the new mattress for months and it alone wasn’t helping my neck issues as I hoped, despite it too is designed for side sleeping. Only when I added this pillow, I got appreciable relief of discomfort while sleeping, improved quality of sleep and decreased neck discomfort while awake. This pillow was the final piece to my sleep problem puzzle. My energy has increased because I’m actually getting good REM sleep and not constantly tossing and turning to find a good position for my neck while side sleeping. I’m giving this 5 stars even though I’m returning it because it is an excellent pillow. I had reached out to the company before purchase to see if they had local sellers and they don’t but they did say this was their official store on Amazon so that was reassuring, I got the pillow overnight and the customer service was great. Absolutely no odor, beautiful quality, not overheating, felt like a cloud, and nice packaging. Now for why I returned it. I have a connective tissue disorder that leaves me in awful neck/shoulder pain with nearly every single pillow. The only pillow that doesn’t cause this pain for me is one of those orthopedic ones by Elviros with the little ramp up for the neck area and your head cradled really low. I just don’t like how hard the memory foam is- I miss normal pillows. So I was really excited to try out the dual support of this pillow which is apparently harder below and light on top- to give support while still emulating a normal pillow. Sadly I think the cervical support was too high/round and the dip in the middle was too high, even on the lower side- and even though when I tested it out while awake and it felt like heaven, I was up a million times in the middle of the night and woke up in awful pain. So, sadly this did not work for me but I could see how it would be amazing for someone else. It was surprisingly easy to get it back into the packaging and they have a 30 day no questions asked return if it doesn’t work out for you. It is an expensive pillow but had it worked out for me I would’ve found it well worth the money, it’s a really unique texture.

This is my first travel pillow and I did a lot of research before I bought it. Boy is it soft! The outer fabric is super soft, feels like velveteen, inner is memory foam, tie slide is double sided and well made which means a little stiff. My pinchers hurt often but I had no trouble squeezing this. Comes with a handy pouch made of windbreaker material, a nice quality eye mask that has a bit of form around the nose to block out peeks of light. The head strap is wide and adjustable, not the cheap elastic I usually find on eye masks. And a pair of sponge earplugs in a tiny clip case (like a toothbrush head cover). I am sure my squished up sleeping face on the plane will be comfortable. This might be a little too roomy for someone under 150 lbs or with a little head. I was specifically looking for something that would hold my head up if it bobbed forward and I think this will work if I just turn it around so the ties are in the back. I’m going to try it. Outstanding for the price!
